LingoHub vs XTM

LingoHub is one platform for software, product and marketing content, and your team decides how much LINA, the AI inside LingoHub, handles in each language. The Platform plan costs $249 a month billed yearly ($2,988 a year), with AI, the API and every integration included. XTM sells separate products with separate pricing, including XTM Cloud, from $16,500 a year, and XTM Transifex. If you ship software and content and want one plan that covers both, start with LingoHub.

Which XTM product are you comparing with LingoHub?

With XTM, you pick a product before you pick a plan, and we're comparing LingoHub with XTM Cloud here. If you ship both software and content, check which XTM products you'd need: XTM lists over-the-air delivery under XTM Transifex and its visual software editor under XTM Rigi, each with its own pricing.

LingoHub

There's one product to buy. The Platform plan includes over-the-air updates and context images.

XTM Cloud

XTM calls it a "TMS for enterprise translation management and operations". Plans are priced by the year, with limits on processed words.

XTM Transifex

XTM calls this one a "specialist Software and website TMS for scaling businesses". There's one plan, priced on AI translation volume, and you get the price from sales.

How does the AI decide what a person reviews?

On both products, your team sets a rule and something automatic applies it. The difference is the shape of the rule. On LingoHub it's a role for each target language plus a list of named checks. On XTM Cloud it's a score band.

Give LINA a role for each language

Put LINA on Assistant and it helps on demand in the Editor. On Translator, LINA translates and runs checks with your glossary, translation memory and style guide, then a person approves. On Agent, LINA translates, checks and approves, and your team steps in for Blocked segments.

Failed checks go back to LINA first

In the Agent role, LINA retries a segment that fails a quality check up to 3 times, using feedback from earlier attempts. If it still fails, LINA marks it Blocked for a team member. You choose which checks LINA runs: placeholders, HTML tags, glossary terms, length limits, spacing, number and date formats, and more.

XTM Cloud scores and routes

Translation Quality Index (TQI) scores each segment for fluency, accuracy and context, and TQI Routing sends it to review, post-editing or delivery. Your team sets the thresholds to fit each kind of content. XTM Cloud also has rule-based QA checks and AI Post-Edit, and it works from your translation memories and glossaries.

Roles or score thresholds: which should you pick?

We prefer roles because everyone can read them: German is on Translator, so a person approves German. Many teams already use LINA beyond its Assistant role, and you can run Agent on one language while reviewers keep the others. Keep a person on any language where meaning needs their eye, and move a language to Agent once you trust LINA with it.

How a translation reaches a person. On LingoHub: LINA translates and quality checks run; if it passes, a person approves in the Translator role and LINA approves in the Agent role; if it fails, in the Agent role LINA retries with feedback up to 3 times, then marks it Blocked for a team member. On XTM Cloud: AI Translate, TQI scores the segment, and TQI Routing sends it to delivery, post-editing or review.

What do you have to buy to get AI, API and Git?

All three come with LingoHub's Platform plan. On XTM Cloud, included AI words start on Business at $60,000 a year, and TQI and AI Post-Edit use the same words. Below Enterprise, the API is an add-on with no published price, and XTM's pricing page doesn't say which plan's connector bundle includes each Git connector.
