Runtastic is a famous provider of Fitness & Health apps for more than 165 million users worldwide and supports its audience in eight languages, including Spanish, French, Japanese, Portuguese, etc. The Runtastic journey started in 2009 as an Austrian-based startup. Now they have more than 250 employees and are part of the adidas family, with two main applications - adidas Running and adidas Training.

Runtastic started its journey with Lingohub in 2015, and its main goal was to improve the quality and speed of the localization process. As they have never used the TMS before, Runtastic looked from the start for tools that would help to keep translating on a high level and support the scaling options in the future.
One of the essential things that also induced the use of a TMS was manual file exporting and importing, which decelerated the speed of the process. By coming to Lingohub, Runtastic is expected to organize localization and spend less time supporting, extending, and updating.

Using Lingohub, Runtastic localized websites and applications (Android and iOS) in eight languages and accelerated the localization process twice! How did this become possible? The favorite features of the Runtastic team are machine translation, translation memory, and Lingochecks (now called quality checks). All these tools allow to automate the translating process without reducing quality.
The Runtastic translators especially highlighted the ability to work with different languages simultaneously and personalize what languages they'd like to see while translating.
