Our experience, knowledge and lessons learned - all here just for you.

Key features

LingoHub is here to make your localization process more streamlined and less stressful. Here’s a list of some of the features we offer to make your life that little bit easier:

LingoHub dashboard

The Lingohub Dashboard is your central place to organize your software localization.

LingoHub Editor

LingoHub QualityChecks

Set values for your translations with LingoChecks to define guidelines to translators for things like the length of translations or terms that need to stay constant across all locales (such as placeholders, brand names or slogans).

Term Base

Machine Translation & Translation Memory

Time is of the essence. Lingohub offers built-in Machine Translation as one of many optional tools you can use to speed up your translation work. We have also developed built-in Translation Memory; providing higher consistency and more efficiency across large projects. You can also create multiple Translation Memories and assign them to one or more projects.

Translation History

We store a complete history of all translations, so you can review changes, roll back to earlier translations or review your project over time.

Autofill

Github Integration with Auto Synchronization

If you use Github, there’s no simpler way to localize. Hook it up to Lingohub and synchronize your files. No manual file handling necessary. We’ll synchronize it right back, according to the rules you specify.

Intelligent Upload System

Gain total control over all of your uploads. Define upload settings for how Lingohub will handle locale file changes and keep track of changes with a detailed history of all changes made.

Roles and Permissions

Manage your team of collaborators by assigning different roles. Permissions will change depending on whether you’re the project owner, translator, reviewer or developer.

OAuth Integration

Login and authentication with Lingohub is possible with Twitter, Facebook, Google, Github, LinkedIn.

REST API

We’re offering a REST API.

Extensive File and Platform Type Support

Lingohub supports various file types and platforms, such as .yml, .properties files (e.g. FirefoxOS), .ini, .xml (Android), .strings (iOS), .resx (.net), .resw (MDL), .resjson (MDL, Windows8).

CLI Client Support

We’re offering a Ruby client to import/export resource files into Lingohub as part of your build process. Get it at: https://www.ruby-toolbox.com/projects/lingohub

Character Set Support

Lingohub supports resource files and text sources in all common character sets; UTF8/16, ASCII, Windows, etc. or less common (encoding is auto-detected). For exporting, Lingohub can put out to UTF-8, UTF-16LE, ISO8859-1, or ISO8859-1 with character escaping.

Comprehensive Search and Filter Tools

Use the text search function or filter text segments by translation ID (TID), labels or resource file. You can also use general filters to select “active”/”inactive” or display only “untranslatable” segments. The check boxes next to your source and target language allow you to easily filter text segments by status or by LingoCheck (quality checks) status.

Streamlined Workflow Process

Lingohub offers a review cycle, allowing you to keep track and manage the status of translations and advance the status automatically based on the user editing them.

Starred Translations

Bookmark or emphasize critical translations by starring them.

Full Keyboard Shortcut Support

Lingohub can be used completely mouse-free, and there are shortcuts for all functionalities, so you can breeze through your translations.

RTL language support

Lingohub fully supports right-to-left-languages, such as Arabic, across the entire platform.

Multi-Edit Actions

Cover ground quickly by changing statuses, marking translations or machine translating en masse.
