Tip!
You can connect LingoHub with your GitHub repository, allowing synchronization of any changes made to your source language file- After logging into your LingoHub account, select the project you wish to upload resource files to, either from the organization dashboard or the projects drop-down in the the top navigation.
- Go to the ‘Resource Files‘ page from the navigation menu. You’ll see something like this:
- Click the ‘+ Upload Files‘ button in the top right of the page.
If your project is connected to a repository click ‘Pull Files‘ to pull files from your GitHub or Bitbucket repository. - Drop or browse for a resource file for this project. The accepted file-types for this project will be listed.
You don’t have to select any files if your project is connected to a repository. Files are automatically pulled without further work. - Once you have selected a file, click on the ‘Upload files’ button:
Tip!
If you want to use different settings to your default settings, click the ‘Import Settings‘ button. (more on that later on) - The progress will be displayed in the file list and the number of changes to existing resource files will be shown on upload:
- Enter the ‘Resource Files’ tab and click the ‘Show Imports’ button on the top right to view detailed information for file uploads or repository imports (if your project is connected to a repository). The actual commit where resource files have changed is detected.
Tip!
You can define quality check for text length settings to your segments with LingoChecks. These can be written into your resource file and will be added to the segments when they are uploaded.Changing Import Settings
You can change what happens to the source or target languages when you upload a file. To change your import settings click on the settings button in the resource files view (you’ll be directed to your project settings) or enter your project settings from the navigation. You’ll be then presented with numerous options for both source and target language imports. Please read more about it in the project settings documentation.
